Cerium
I don’t mean
to be mean, but
I’ve known people
like you, who serve
“no known biological
function”, who are
as cold as the astroid
you’re named after,
yet, at a distance,
spark like flint. They are
made of a compound
we call cerebral,
and they think
they are as rare as
a rare earth metal,
though they’re really
more common
than lead.
