Silver

The symbol for silver is "A" and "G"
Silver as a very interesting subject for me
Silver is a little harder than the element gold
You should go buy some if you know where its sold
Silvers atomic number is 47
and its density is close to eleven
in todays world silver is worth alot of money
I bet you could use it to buy alot of honey
Silver is hard to find in its pure state
Its not something you would want to use as fishing bait
Silver is also used to make some of our mirrors
Thats all the information that your going to hear
By Desiree Goldman

Glistening, shining, Seolfor,
From the mountains came the ore,
Known as a metal,
On the periodic table,
But what is it for,
Rings, necklaces, bracelets, and more,
Best for electricity,
As well as circuitry,
Reflecting light through the mirror,
Film so much clearer,
Ancient miners found it,
From which we only benefit,
An element so useful,
And so very beautiful
By Danielle Raimonde

Silver

Adorned on the beautiful,
It shines like the moon.
It’s glitter controls the men,
As the moon controls the tide.

Ancient prophesies state its power,
To kill the werewolf.
A mere reflection of its mystifying nature,
A fairy tale created by mystery.

Used to capture your memories,
Or maybe your soul as some believe.
All its magic is yet to be seen,
But like a dream, it induces rain.

When combined with chloride,
Its presence is toxic.
So give your wife its beauty,
Or she may give you its death!

Silver is the beauty of life
By robert frost

much softer than some,
sensuous captured moonlight,
seemingly solid.

Silver watches over me
From up there in the sky
Silver was passed down to me
Before my aunty died
Silver watches over me
Wherever I may lie
She shines up from my finger
And she shines down from the sky

Silver,
silver
I hear you sing
For gold is too rich for you
So you say
So alone and cold,
Waiting for a glow of warmth
A glow of colour
Your friends, cousin and brethren you envy
For,
To be happy and noble
is what you seek.

My Silver Ring

You gave me a silver ring one day,
it was for my birthday.
I loved it because it was so you.
You told me we'd be together soon,
wispered you were mine,
for as long as that ring would shine.
You've tarnished that smooth element
with betrayals, now, I lament.
You've hurt me and you lied
I took the ring off today
and I cried...

Silver

It's better than copper, and less than gold.
You don't wish it was sold.
You can wear it, sell it, and even take it.
You might miss it a bit.
Take it and wear some.
Now just come.
Too the mountains for more.
and watch the birds soar!
By Julia

Silver

It fights a long battle, builds up steam,
All this to keep its glorious gleam
But destructively the sulfur attacks,
Turning my jewelry from silver to black,
Taking its shine, making it old.
Gee, I wish I had bought gold.
