Actinium (the 89th element) is like a beautiful poem
It stands unquestionablly solid
with a melting point that is
far out of reach (1922F)
even for the merciless.
It's crystal structure
is almost perfectly symmetrical
in all its layers of energy
(But for the 9th electron
in the 6th energy level
which gives it just the right
twist for interest.)
It is extremely rare.
And has no known uses. |
