Why are you never
found free in nature,
but, rather, always
shackled, forced to work
the poorest jobs:
cleaning our clothes,
glazing our china,
killing the insects
that invade our house?
You have even been
called on to preserve
the dead. Is it
because of your
‘amorphous brown’
color? Does such
a force run down
to the atom? Is hate
really that elemental?

The element boron is the best
once you hear you will be impressed
it's atomic number is five
that's a fact you can't connive
Sir Humphrey discovered it in 1808
the grandness of it you can't abate
it looks like carbon because it's black
metalloid properties it does not lack
it is an essential nutrients to help plants grow
like willows and cornrows since a long time ago
it is better than xenon and zircon and radon
it is better than neon, it's fabulous boron! |

My name is Boron
but you may call me B
Although he's dischoverd many
Sir Humphry Davy discovered me
I am found in hard places to get at
for volcanoes are not very flat
In those hot springs I like to sustain
So it isn't easy for you to obtain
Though once you get me out of that place
I might just end up far into space
I will simply feel more free at last
though you could use me as fiberglass
Or i might be just below your feet
Dancing to one single beat
So whether i am under you feet, keeping you warm or flying up high and doing my best
Who even knows where you will see me go next. |

Boron discovered by Louis, Dave, and Joseph in 1808
Even though it was used way before without being known, though it is a
Black rock it is used to make the bright light in Flares, just because
You can’t find boron in gases but you can find it in some glasses,
You won’t be able to find it as a liquid but it does your dishes.
This could be the most expensive black rock you buy because of
All the things it is used for. Even though chemically it is closer to
Silicon its characteristics are closer to aluminum. In the future
Boron is going to be there to help with everyone’s bones
Because this little black rock is here to stay.

Boron is brown or black,
Don’t get confuse and be a moron,
Boron is a solid non-metal,
With 5 neutrons and 5 protons,
Boron is everywhere in the world,
Including your house but mainly the industrial world,
Boron is toxic
If you don’t believe me,
Ask the cockroaches,
Is also used to protect people,
One example are hockey fans,
Who protect from the hockey disc,

TO
BORON
MANLINESS
Do five protons five neutrons;
portion periodic table potions,
raising your elemental desire.
STICK OUT SOME HOPE
Hold a torch finding a lost love;
be true to who you actually are;
keep a keen attention on reality.
BORE BORON ATOMIC BONDS
Set off the darling daring do flare;
fire up soft brown amorphous joy;
put on the non metallic crystalline.
FORM PROPELLANT MIXTURES
Shape nuclear reactor control rods;
formulate patently abrasive wheels;
anneal your hard metallic alloy deals.
BOSS BORON COMBINATIONS
Add this toughness to steel dreams;
follow strict proportional guidelines;
lead your atoms, correctly in accord.
HARMONIZE APPROPRIATELY
Command a genuine effort to join up;
adapt your authentic element to fit in;
take an honest approach to chemistry.
BORROW BORON ATTRIBUTES
Bag the success story of a life time;
grab a glory without the least worry;
pay your highly esteemed kindness.
POLITELY ISSUING DEMANDS
Order compliance to a basic principle;
synchronize the ideal for life long love;

Introspector
He sat, staring at the brown
plaster wall, trying to pull
poems from its shingled side.
He once told me
that atoms could spur dreams,
weave them into ionic loves
and create charges.
I laughed, knew his place,
watched him forever gaze
at the brown plaster wall,
knowing the only atom he'd ever see
would be a Boron. |
