Nobody Noticed
Nobody noticed…
Nobody noticed that the rain was rising...
As the sun was falling
Nobody noticed…
Nobody noticed that the birds did not fly...
Nor did critters crawl
Nobody noticed...
Nobody noticed the world slowing to a halt...
As life got faster
Everyone was too busy...
Busy doing nothing...
Doing nothing about it
Busy blaming...
Pointing… accusing...
Making false assumptions
Oh there were a few...
A few that tried to warn us...
That tried to help the masses
But their cries were unheard...
And there were a few too many...
A few too many doubters
Negatrons with megaphones...
Amplified whispers stifled the truth...
Amplified lies drowned out the cries
Cries of mercy on the soul...
The poor souls vanished...
Into the dust that was left behind

Sometimes if you paint an...
Sometimes if you paint an ugly picture that nobody wants to see.. people will start working together to do something about the negative bull crap in their lives... I am actually an optimist in a pessimistic poem!
Thanks for the cheer Kathy

LOL... I can't sleep either
LOL... I can't sleep either... I fell asleep on the sofa right after Ginny and I finished a game of scrabble... Ginny woke me to go to bed... And now I'm wide awake!
You're going to hate me... I walked in the house Thursday evening... I had nothing on my mind... no thought of writing anything at all... I sat down in font of the computer and wrote this in less than 5 minutes (with my index fingers of course... YOU KNOW ME) Ginny was on her computer next to me and I asked her if she wanted to hear the poem I just wrote... She said, "You wrote a new poem? ... You just sat down... How could you write a poem that fast? She liked it too... You have to keep the mind uncluttered!
I read your Pablo poem... I was in a rush and had to leave the house and I did not have time to comment on it... You have been RED HOT... lately... That ws one of your all time best!
Linda thanks for your consistent support... I love you! When you give a compliment it's like God telling the Pope he's doing a good job... It means so much more coming from somebody that writes like Van Gogh paints... the way that you do!
