Porcelain Praise

Porcelain Praise

You can always be found, you are always near
You’re seldom heated, In fact a bit cold on the rear

You’re sturdy and firm, and smooth to the skin
Outside of our family you’re the nearest of kin

At the moment of truth, your relief hits the spot
Like the corn that we eat, your selfless service for naught

You share in our good days, when our fiber is high
You lament on our bad ones, when we do nothing but sigh

When work’s hit us hard, you provide sanctuary to think
We come before you and kneel when we’ve had too much to drink

We approach you each day, to squat, sit or stand
Your whistling waters, like a melodious band

We take you for granted, we admit that we do
You must love us like children, to put up with our pooh

So we sing you this praise and in our hearts we will bare
Your services rendered, remember we care

Hot Damn

AKP,

I love it. It's good to see that I'm not the only one who has written an ode to the room of absolute comfort. You might want to look mine up, it's titled "Comm-Ode".

Funny but absolutely true piece my friend,

Pete

Thank you Willow for the kind words...It's amazing what a good night of drinking, and an even worse morning, will inspire us to write. Thank you again.
