Another Woman
My heart lies on its deathbed
And my mind plays games with my soul
My brain sleeps and my thoughts end
My body's weak and my blood doesn't flow
This happens when I hear what I can't bear
And when I see what I can't face
When I've lost all sense of feeling
Not even a tear leaves a trace
When life dealt me a severe blow
And my dreams came to a standstill
And everything as it was is no more
Where a mountains stands where once was a hill
When people I know seem like aliens
And greed has turned into a trend of fashion
And every marriage end a joke
Forgotten the knot of a once vigorous passion
In the eye of the storm with everything gone
Silence emphasizing the emptiness
And I realize because of her
I am doomed to endless loneliness
To be the other woman, there needs to be a man
To be the other one, there needs to be a first
To be the receiver or the witness of something bad
There needs to be a portrayal or speaker - the hearse
This brings my heart to its deathbed
Where my mind plays games with my soul
And my brain sleeps and my thoughts stop
My body's weak and no blood flows
This is my Guardian Angel, interrupting
Preventing me from lashing out
Because another woman sits with my spoils
This second-hand love is hers now, without a doubt...
