the wind (elements, part one)
i felt my ears ring
as the wind spiralled through them
like a siren sending me a message
from a far off dimension
i felt it beat against my face
with its bitter chill
as i sunk into my coat a little tighter
and i trudged right along
and i found myself
at the top of the hill
looking around as far as the eyes could see
watching all the many places the wind could hit
as it clattered through the dark winter trees
dusted up dirt in the empty fields
sang its little song through the grass blades
where only the crickets and mice could hear
i watched the cool blue waters rippling
across the little ponds...dancing
papers blew from the trash cans
they were set free to explore the world denied them
the people down there...cursed the wind
their coats, their long hair pranced wildly about
as they so carefully tried to make headway
into the crazy outside world
and me, i just stood there on that hill
my arms stretched way out...my eyes closed
feeling it in all its mighty power
welcoming...the wind.

peace
I find a peacefulness in here, Mark. Feeling the elements and letting them flow... This is chill.
thank you...
i like a little chill now and then...i can't always be running around in a batsuit!
take care,
mark
yeah
I understand. I'd think it might get tiring...
yes...
flapping around all day is hard on the arms...
the wind
Maybe you're not catching the right wind currents.. Bet you could hang-glide in that thing if used properly..
Like being in your own bubble
where nothing can shatter the peace or harmony...beautiful writing whispurr, like a relaxing lullaby :D ♥
thanks, sweetie!
Take care,
Mark
