and they take center stage
in the big courtyard GRAND
the grannies holler out

Granny Jones tells drummer
"come on...turn up the BEAT
so cool that we'll chill out
get our mind off the HEAT!

the groove draws a big crowd
just all over the PLACE
Granny Pike grabs a mike
and shoves it in her FACE!

"Say hey y'all," she cries out
"Ya wantin to BOOGIE?
if not, i got knuckles
to give y'all a NOOGIE!

so let's clap our hands, yeah
shakin our quakey HIPS
if ya break em don't fret
we'll make ambulance TRIPS!"

Granny Jones takes the stage
and she pulls down her PANTS
shakes her butt like a nut
shows the crowd how to DANCE!

and Gramps he hits the floor
with his old MEGAPHONE
sings "doobly dee da da
i'm a crazy ole BONE!"

and the crowd it goes wild
as the grannies do RAP
keep the beat through the heat
with a resounding SLAP!

and they're trippin all night
