the hobgoblins hover
oh they belch and they drool
as the ghost van pulls up
of one Tommy McTool
takes out his equipment
sound recorders and such
to capture those spirits
that scare us all so much!

he lets out a big yawn
and his arms he does stretch
he pounds hard on the door
of the tenement netch
it creaks as it opens
and much to his surprise
an old lady does answer
all dressed up as french fries

"hello...i'm Miss Helda..."
she sings out to the man
"and thank you for coming
in your flashy ghost van!
my tenants are nervous
they shriek and they jitter
they warn of our ghosts here
on facebook and twitter!

and these ghouls are orn'ry
such a mischieveous lot
they bounce on the rooftops
in a big old fry pot
one crept in the closet
of Miss Sandy St. Loo
came out in her nightie
then kiss'd her and said 'boo!'

and skeletons dance round
in pink feathers they hop
clank loud on their old bones
and their knuckles they pop
while mummies race about
all wrapped up so tight
steal all the young ladies
take them out for the night!

they take them out clubbing
to so many a hot haunt
try to get them naked
they do tease and they taunt
they run back here crying
and hide under their beds
where spiders are waiting
with such creepy blue heads!

oh please there Mr. McTool
with your ghastly big sack
would you take out your stuff
and then scare these ghouls back?"
Tommy smiled and hopp'd up
shook his purple long hair
"i'll get rid of them all...
so please don't you despair!"

so he ran in the place
his ghost vacuum in tow
to suck up the ghoulies
and goblins don't you know
he took them all in yes
with such powerful sucks
and then charged poor helda
five hundred fifty bucks!

he then ran from the house
with the vacuum in arm
sped the van down the street
with the siren's alarm
he took them all with him
out to the new nightclub
after stopping for burgers
and some ghostly good grub!

then they danced until dawn
they shimmied and they shaked
they smoked them some reefer
and they all got quite baked
they hop'd back in the van
and rode off into the sun
those ghouls may be creepy
but they sure do have fun!
