halloween haiku

angry faced pumpkin
with jagged teeth and sharp eyes
fire rages within

ding dong goes the bell
please give us lots of candy
cute little beggars

blood dripping from chin
the vampire smiles as he sucks
immortal pleasure

the wolf howls quite loud
the moon fuels his anger so
eyes burn from its glow

somewhere the ghost looms
we walk through the house slowly
our teeth do chatter

the pointed witch hat
filled with knowledge of the ages
guides her through the night

the mummy wrap'd tight
walks a very wobbly path
his screams are muffled

the ghoul is just all bones
clattering his teeth, laughing
he skips through the house

trick or treat

trick or treat, smell my feet, gimme something good to eat!

you're just a liitle early...

and the only thing i have here to eat now is rhutabegas,,,tasty!
Take care,
Mark

I love your haikus

especially when they're about Halloween, the "cute little beggars" line made me laugh-even when children dress up as monsters they still look sweet! :D ♥

yes they are...

thank you for the comment!
Take care,
Mark
