I see life so much clearer these days I spend in jail
Solitude can be painful, so close to living in hell
I want to help everybody, take away all their pain

So many say they love you and act as if they truly care
When down an out, no hope in sight, they wouldn't help you they wouldn't dare

When you hurt just like eveybody else, your only comfort comes from above
A simple smile or a kind word can easily turn your whole day around
Depression, heartache, and anger it aakes so little to make us frown
be a shoulder to lean on, listen ever so close
To the people that truly love us, the ones that care the most
You should never have a deaf ear to anyone who needs a comforting touch
Listen with content to their problems, you could help the oh so much
I'm just like you I have feelings too, I am a person with a heart
