Eating Crow

The Sparrows-Grackles-Blackbirds
And barn Swallows go

As a figure in loosely fitting
Clothes stands alone

He does not work hard and he
Keeps his emotions in check

At attention is he as the butterflies
And birds fly by-

His clothing flaps in the wind
And attracts attention

The motive of this gent-SCARECROW-
Is plain to see

Although it appears the lustrous
Black plumaged boisterous one

Tests the gent's patience as he lands
Often near his feet-TO EAT!
