I am dying

I am dying
slowly assuredly
as the sun rises red death glow
through the maple sweet sugar
tree in the backyard cluttered with toys
and a half built shed

i look at the school
the basketball court silent
used as a parking lot for teachers
filling their students with Math competencies
for the incompetent

what if the world were to end tommorrow
would you cry? scream? rage?
what? what?

as slowly i use my mind
lose my minds
eyesight failing i need glasses to read
books that once i breezed through
now i float

i am a ghost

I Like This piece!

Warren I like the use of description here. I also like the questioning of things, and the pondering.
