You walk along a certain path
And everything seems right
You are at peace with what you are

There are many hurting people
Use the world to help their ills
Buying loads of useless fodder
Cults, Religions, Potions, Pills
satan's laughing at their pain

It's tough being a Christian
It's harder than the norm
No longer following the world
You stand to face the swarm
Your former mate, the devil

The blood of Jesus washes me
Every time I am unclean
Which is nearly all the time
Covered in my worldly grime
You can hear the daily thud

Help me be more positive
In everything I do
All that I've accomplished
Is entirely due to You
The glory goes to You, oh Lord
Your grace in me abounds

Love Is The Key That Unlocks Your Heart
A precious place where life can start
A beautiful flower that starts to bloom

Where is the place you put your trust
Is it in your treasure
Does your life depend upon
That which you can measure
Why do you build monuments

Look around your comfy house
Add up all your wealth
Does the total of your pile
Bring kudos to your health
Will it add another day
To what you are allowed

We are a people designed for His sake
Reflecting His love to the lost
Just like a lighthouse, we shine out to sea
As onto the rocks they are tossed

Do you feel the pressure
To be a pharisee
To tick the list of laws each day
A working Christian be
Being a slave to doing right

You give Him your service
Your money, your gifts
And everything else
That will give Him a lift
As long as you're busy
And doing His will

Like walking through treacle
The desert is tough
Aimlessly trudging
Through times that are rough
You're getting no answers
