Saturate us with Your shower

Help us give You all our trust

If you're looking for some help
With what you're going through
And if everything you've tried
Has left you feeling blue
Then hand it over straight away

You're finding life is humdrum
You're finding church a bore
The thrill you got from serving Him
Is sadly there no more
You're going through the motions

What do people see in you
Are you a blessing in their eyes
Always there to be a help
Or a Christian in disguise
Do you fall in with their world

I pray to You to give me strength,
To carry on with You,
Who gave up so much,just for me,
And made my life brand new,

It's very hot, it's stifling
And I feel so oppressed
The world is burning round me
I'm feeling overdressed
So I retreat into the shade

Yesterday they had a home
A job and family
Everything was going well
As far as they could see
In paradise they reaped the joy
That Christmas brought along

Jesus is our superhero
Though like Batman,He is not
Doesn't get on with the devil
Cause he hurts us quite a lot
Jesus won a special battle

Peace has fallen on this person
In a static place, no less
It's a lull before the storm breaks
Restoration time, I guess
To the state that He created

How much oil is in your sump
Are you heading for a bump
Do you keep your levels high
Or flicker meekly with a sigh
Does the thought of seeking God

Hello there, are you the one
The Lord will use today
Are you prepared and open to
Whatever comes your way
For we are His disciples
Samaritan and friend

The Lord has got a job for me
I found that out this week
But He won’t tell me what it is
His secret, He won’t leak
Patience is a virtue

Peer out of your window
Upon the world outside
Surely there is someone near
In whom you can confide
A friend who will not judge you
When you dissolve in tears
