RISK

Have you something on your mind
Secrets that you're loath to bear
Would you shock another's ears
As your deepest sin you share
It's a risk to let it out
Another mask allowed to fall
Who's to say the time is right
Maybe it's not time at all.

We are all a fearful lot
Frightened of what people think
They might turn their backs on us
Probably they wouldn't blink
It is better out than in
God is with us all the way
Go on, let the poison out
Take another step today.

RE: RISK

An interesting piece; when it comes to actual truth, it is certainly a risky situation; and risk comes in so many forms (as you already know); nice job. --Joe

Logic, when applied to people, fails miserably. --Joseph J. Breunig 3rd

This Reminds Me

This reminds me of when Thomas heard about the other disciples seeing Jesus after His death yet he said he wouldn't believe it until he saw the imprint of the nails in his hands, and touch them and put his hand into Jesus side.

Sometimes we must show others our scars that they may believe and understand that we came by the way we have said and that we where as they are but are changed by the power of the blood shed by Jesus and the joy of HIS resurrection. And when a true brother or sister in Christ hears your testimony nothing should change if they have truly loved you except that you grow closer as they have come even closer to the cross. And if one hears your testimony and is living or struggling with a similar situation then they might also see hope and a home worth reaching for a FATHER worth seeking and a Truth worth believing.

Thank You for sharing and yes even among those in fellowship with you sometimes you discover some who can't handle it because they aren't walking upright but even then GOD is with us so why be afraid.

Ansel
