What a hectic life we lead
Busy people doing stuff
Read our bibles, say our prayers
As long as we are doing enough
To live the life that we believe
Will earn our way to pastures rich
Where we can graze like fatted calves
And go through life without a hitch.

Reality means die to self
He never meant a life of ease
We aren't immune from stress and strain
But knowing Him will bring release
As long as we can heed His call
To look upon the world outside
And live a life that we believe
Will mean our Lord is glorified.
