I am sitting in my study
Wanting to write
Just open my heart
And start to type

I have written poems
From childhood to now
They just didn’t seem
So important somehow.

But now there is a change
As you can see
I can write poetry
So Easily

And I keep all I write
And I send them to you
For you may know
What I’m going through

It’s not always a thought
Happy or sad
Sometimes it is more than
Just that.

So my friend
In you I confide
To feel what I feel
And enjoy what I write.
