I walk in darkness, shadows dancing beside me,
I see the light thru' your eyes.
I see the windows, breaking before me,
I close all the doors behind.
I feel the wind, I hear the thunder,

In many small circles ... few will take flight
never leaning afar .... to the left or the right
from the earths gravitation, they never will wonder
left to small things ever to ponder
but that one in a million, from earth to pull free

This little girl I held close in my arms
I tried to protect and keep from all harm
I saw her through all her pleasures and ills
I watched her grow , from blue jeans to frills

She was the answer to all of my prayers
Again I held close, I calmed her fears

I can imagine ..... your body with mine
yielding to rhythm, Transcending all time

If I never ever was, how would I still be here
a dog, a cat, just one small plant or someone you hold dear

Would you look at me the same or would you turn away
How could I ever be not me and still remain the same?

All these things, I do think, my mind does ever ponder
of how you would invite me in, your life I often wonder

would you softly pat my head...... if i were that dog

Always just an after thought, forever I will be
when again you've lost at love, you'll come back here to me

You've lost that man of dreams, you knows he's not the one

There was a room where time stood still, now that time does fly
one takes wing at morning light ..... and sighs a tearful sigh
I thought that you would be the one of all the ones before

A few words spoken ... leads to dreams exchanged
questions near answered ......a hope soon does arrange
Interest soon peaks and fears grow abound
