Today I had a thought of you but, it was so much more
my mind refrain, cannot explain, why so than e'er before

Of time since then and what is now and what I want to be
of feelings deep, I tried to hide, so far, you could not see

No one can take the memories the years so freely gave
time now lost, left far behind, what's now we choose to save

From when we met, thru' few regrets, to where we now have grown
thru' all the miles and nights alone, this future now be shown

So rest your head so soft to mine, our thoughts will now be one
of days gone by, nights yet to come, our journey has begun

Today I had a thought of you, but now was much more strong
This thought so deep inside of me, does now, last all day long
