Blackberry Sun
Blackberry sun
Drip down black on red
Wash away the end
Ice blue dreams
Of mint and cream
Filling with the ecstasy
Of nothing real at all
Melting down
Shattering
My reflection gone
From glass rooms filled with pain
Letting out and breathing in
This cold air burning lungs
Slow flow of a dying gaze
Through stained glass panes
Of blood once mine
But now only belonging to the sun shining
Through, pouring crimson dreams
On this bed I’ve been laid to rest
Now I sleep for pale eternity
Dreaming of a blackberry sun
