Fire burning way down deep
Lava flowing
From my face

Trillions of years ago
In her fury she had me

My fires anger, quenched by the Sea

Wind and rain, my growing pains
These things affecting me
Seems I’m never at rest
A show for my guests
Who quickly come then flee

You worry you’re damaging me
But you use nothing I didn’t lend you
Your bombs, your false hypocrisy
Your gas emissions and your sloppy needs
Your wasteful ways bending you to your knees
The time is coming, time that you all feed
With your demise, I’ll still be

They cry for Mother Earth
Always endeavor to save me
But you tear down your own

You think you count so much
But a speck of time will tell

I rose up the mountains
Gave birth to the fountains

Billions of years ago
The planets born my time to know
I was born, the universe was formed
Now like a pesky rash you all came along
