WINDS

Looking for reasons
Within those moments of stillness;
The ever-changing seasons,
And the frantic nomads of hopelessness:
The blowing winds.

Amorphous wanderers
In a metaphysical land of blue;
The library of philosophers,
Whispering something meant for you;
In the blowing winds.

Eyes are quivering,
Dripping droplets in swirling dreams;
Those fears of remembering,
Recalled by a blue jay's screams;
And the blowing winds.

A flowing river:
The excitement of going somewhere,
But what anger to finally discover
A delta to an ocean of nowhere,
And blowing winds.

Two lovers
That thought they were meant to be;
Holding desperately to each other,
Only to be separated hopelessly
With the blowing winds.

A world with no remorse,
Murmuring its saddest song,
For it too has lost its course,
Spinning endlessly, aimlessly among
The blowing winds.
