Like the changing of the seasons, the cycle has no end
a roller coaster ride from hell, the good and bad they blend.
Mistaken screams of terror, for the joys that once I knew
emotions like the autumn leaves, they scatter yet accrue.

Most times I'm like the winter, frozen tundras void of life
so desolate, the world around, to it I am a blight.
Fresh fallen snow, like me has charm, and for some has mass appeal
admire and partake too long, left unable to feel.

Summertime, fun to be had, at least in memories
my temper is that time of year, so there's no joy for me.
A heatwave blast, hot humid air, leaves scorched earth in it's wake
if found like this then stay away, your feelings I'll forsake.

Spring has sprung, time for rebirth, my spirit it includes
renewed strength, albeit brief, happiness I now exude.
I wish this time of year for me, could last the most of all
you see me I am winter, spring the summer and the fall.
