I shudder as I remember
And the only life left is
In the sincere light of her eyes, but
That light is made dull
By the carved marking
"Sadness"
Etched gray into the brown
For her remaining sole time.

I know it a little deep down
Memorized still when I was young
A carving into ones seeing eye
Cannot be undone
And so the girl in the mirror
Or otherwise known as me
Will live up to her faith
And live in this misery
Until her day slowly comes by
And she closes her clear, pupil less eyes.

Judea's last thought happens to be
Changes are a natural
Always made
With it life twirls and plays
And so it is said
Destiny is based on alterations
And so can't it also be true for fate?
