Spinning In Circles- Part 4 - Strength

I look in the mirror
And the once lively and joyful
Girl turns around
She is stilly young but her skin
Is drained of all happiness
Her face resigned
The burden laid on her shoulders
I tear away my gaze,
Only to find my cell phone
Daring me to look away
From the clear black screen, reflecting
Showing me my own self.

The strength required is more than
I can give, what I have
Already given
To those who were in need
And in the end I forgot
To save any for one last person
Strength needed to save myself
From sinking down below
Sinking faster than the the eye can see
Faster than the pen falling down
Quick, in blurry spirals.
