Face To Face

How diest Thou take my sorrows sweet?
As though they were a treasure rare!
And give to me the gift of sleep,
For burdens I'm too weak to bear.

What songs Thou whisper in my heart
Of love beyond what can compare!
That lures me to the deepest part,
Where face to face I find You there.

Repenter86,

I appreciate the positive response. Not everyone enjoy's the old english style, and I'm not sure I've got it entirely correct so knowing someone find's it beautiful means much to me.

Thanks,
Toni

yeah I totally get what ur saying....

I can understand it well and appreciate it being in England myself and being used to that in older texts.....never mind what others might or might not understand.....what feels good to you is what you should do, right?.....and I feel that every one should understand your write, its not that complicated, its elegant and easy flowing, thats what I liked about it to begin with......peace.
