You & I, both
I am just a porcelain individual, who lives and breathes, just like you.
When did you learn to draw distinctions, between our intentions?
Were you not raised, too? Have you not, ever, been called a fool?
At least once, maybe twice?
Growing up did you not, also, question the same sky?
The same sky I woke to this morning, and thanked for the blessing of living and breathing?
Breathing, is that not something else you, too, think is scarce? When did you become so fierce?
Was it after you spent your first tears? Was it after you tasted the bitterness of your fears?
Was it after you lost your first tooth and realized the truth?
That just like all things, like your teeth, no matter how clean and pristine,
they are meant to leave your body, like your soul.
Do you, too, carry a gaping hole?
Is your heart burdened also by The Furnace, called Earth?
Do you and I, share the same curse?
Knowing, that on this planet, there is nothing you can do
to circumvent the fact,
that we are the worst?
When was it that you realized your own complexity?
Was this when you figured you were better than me?
Neglecting my complexity? Figuring that I do not have potential.
Securing your security. You do not envy me- I am sure.
You envy my envy. At least, I am feeling;
I am feeling envy for the unity of the whole,
and I am tired
of the same old, cold, rubber souls bouncing back and forth,
without purpose.
Not realizing the sincerity,
the intricacy,
in prose.

I dig the philosophical nature of your questioning, Tiresias. A lot of meaning and depth to this write. Well done.
Much Appreciated.
Just lending an arm; or maybe a thought
"Pushing the wheel barrel of regret-
We’ll televise our confessions;
because life is just an IED."
like your work, and appreciate your appreciation, Thank you.
I agree with
NSF, there is such resignation in this piece. I like your line on old, cold rubber souls. Very good. raskin
OMG RASKIN!
Wow, its good to hear from you.
I'm glad you like it,
means more to me from you.
I like your heat devil piece,
"a Shakesperian comedy"
ya, this one an original piece,
one of my first, where i wasn't
clouded by the image of a poet,
and more resigned to the title of human.
Thank you for the accolade :)
