Words not mince
I'm not going to sweeten my words.
I'm sitting here after a day of rough ends,
thinking of all the problems at hand,
trying to get a perspective across.
So here it is: life's too short,
hate leads to destruction,
of the self and of the world,
love is anything that makes you feel warm,
emptiness is the biggest threat in life,
it leads to inactivity, the worst crime,
wasted time.
And while you were reading, I am only sitting;
think openly of the impication of me
sitting and writing this.
Well, it must be foolish, ignorant,
a waste of time, and a waste of efforts;
unless, you did gain some insight, or
some understanding, that made you get up
and do something, made you leave that rut,
made you feel good, or
distracted you from your sorrows,
with the single goal in mind,
to make you realize
that the world is good, and so are you.
and with that knowledge, and by that fact,
anything you do, and anything you serve
is good, as long as it makes you feel warm.
So, in conclusion, I believe
i have oscillated myself for you; for you
to get something, anything from this declaration.
because, I believe that the world is perfect without me.
With me, it is only better, even with all my falls and success',
the world only enriches.
Diversity is good. Unity in diversity is best.

Interesting, thoughtful
and deserves a comment. Yes, I believe in the warmth of love but I think that love adds a glow or a shine to be seen by those around you. I think sometimes people will get overwhelmed easily but for me I like to think of the factor of one, if I can affect one person, mentor one person, improve one persons life that's good. I believe kindness starts a chain reaction but it can't be easily abandoned or discouraged. Just my opinion but I thought you wrote a couple of nice thoughtful pieces here. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. raskin
A Glow!
Your absolutely right!
I think i may have slighted myself and not even realized it with that word choice, something about warm seems to remind me
of steel when its being heated in a forge, and the steel turns red hot, it gives off a glow.
but thank you, i did overlook the glow all together, it may have added a little more depth, but this was supposed to be a rough write.
Still, thank you for the input and thank you for some of your works.
This just left an imprint on me:
"How many fathoms down did you travel
before you realized the dark didn't drown you
only slowed you down?"

P.S. I might consider doing a piece entirely on glow or light of some sort, that is if it isn't patented --__--
