This Old Town

I remember when i came here, for something i saw
Or something i thought, it ended up becoming a song
And im me again for once in my life i-feel like im free again
Saw this little woman that was dancing in the tree's, i think
I was not expecting invitations to her palace
Lost inside this wonderland of craziness and Alice
She took my hand tightly, we ran to the woods
That softer melody i heard, she had sang it so good
I was chasing her around, in the land of the west
We had fallen on the grass, had her hand on my chest
All the pain we ever had, didn't seem to exist
Every negative memory was a dream in the mist
Bigger smile on our face, turning it around...
We are happy when together but were always down
And the chemicals are gone, we just smile and kiss
Though were both dying inside, we feel wild with bliss
Is this love we kept asking? We cant even think
Every second so precious, our time it can shrink
And the memory's we made, finally felt right
We were dancing in the dark of the night, until the morning
I wake up kind of early see her stretching and shes yawning
Telling me she'll be right back...and i adored it
Never will i question the thought, or even think
Being happy's an idea so people believe in it
