Setting Sun

Out toward the Setting Sun he rowed
Beside his boat the water glowed
His girl, Lena, was waiting there
Setting Sun shining in dark hair
"Come and find me when day is done
I'll be out near the Setting Sun
Out at the Setting Sun I'll be
Waiting for my true love, thee"

Out toward the Setting Sun he rowed
Beside his boat the water glowed
Suddenly a storm came through
And blocked the Setting Sun from view
"When battle's over and you are done
Come find me out at the Setting Sun
If you aren't here when dark is nigh
I'll jump over the falls so high"

Out toward the Setting Sun he rowed
Beside his boat no water glowed
Anchored in the tallest grass
He waited for the storm to pass
"If you aren't here when sun is shed
I think I'll know that you are dead
And in accordance to old lore
We'll be together forever more"

Out toward the Setting Sun he's rowed
For minutes the water has not glowed
For you see the sun has already set
Where is Lena with her hair of jet?
"Out at the Setting Sun I'll be
Waiting for my true love, thee
I didn't know it was going to storm
So I went into a cave to keep warm"

Out past the Setting Sun they rowed
In Lena's hair the water glowed
They may look tired and harried
But in two days they'll be married
