Autumn Sea

The sky leaked woven dreams and
a boy went missing in an autumn sea.
The sea that boiled with the deepest red,
drowned him under the oil and lead.

A will enormous and wholesome,
he was a great bastion of courage;
chasing the sunset on his lonesome,
his imagination never ceased to flourish.

Summer's burning blades of grass
held girlboy's gentle dreams intact:
he sang to her in a girlish flutter,
the naked voice making her voice stutter.

Ill-fated girl left for the autumn sea,
wondering where her love could be.
Memories of their sun-streaked pride
prompted ponderance over where he'd hide.

An incessantly sad parade
nuanced her eternal blues;
The artistic dream she yearned for fades,
the love for him she feared to lose.

And she saw him there floating
Head-spinning twist of fate gloating:
her source of intimacy and confession
lay still with a solemn complexion.

Love petal-kissed and tender,
she watched it all glide
like drifting ash from a smouldering ember.
It was a love that built castles inside.

Lonely souls once more combined
to create a love forever defined.
Bright eyes of girlboy were open wide
as they now lived beneath the tide.
