The Auction Year 6.2

Poem Title : The Auction (Year 6 second week) 064
Written 3/11/2007

The dumbest Seller awoke, alive to news of the glory,
The Auctioneer had just exchanged the Poet for money,
Who shall I make the cheque to,or would cash be much better?
Well cash may not be prudent ,Be aware some Folks are evil.
So home then he wended to their desolate trailer,
His Love -nest all sold up,to liquidate assets,
The carping Wife ?A note lay just by the stove head.
Farewell my lover ,my looser,my old friend,
I`ve had more than enough of your dreams and your promise,
Go sell that old Poet before he goes to rack and to ruin !
