My Four Marriages
It was my first marriage
I got into it driving a carriage
Even though there was no clear passage
And i did not get the message
Thats how i got into my first marriage
The second one was almost the same
Except it was full of shame
Conscience kept calling my name
And there was no one else to blame
Things would never be the same
Of the third i shall not speak
Because the plot was very thick
Shattered pieces of my heart i had to pick
This left my soul quite sick
And of it i am still unable to speak
But the fourth- oh what bliss!
It all started with a little kiss
Something very hard to miss
So i settled into it with ease
I will never leave this life full of bliss

nice that you were able to...
save the best for last. Enjoyable poem - must have been difficult to write with all the rhymes the same in each stanza. Good work.
