Ambivalence

Never before have you lain
Skin to skin with your own kind,
With such lascivious energy pulsing through your body
To the tattoo of your timid heart.
Excitement makes itself known

Assinine

Feel you that your worth is measured in material,
With no regard to the merit of spirit and soul?
The hubris looming on every word
Thrown from the insincerity of your tongue

Melting And Black Eyes, Melting

A kinetic harangue speaks with such booming presence,
Though it is reclined resentfully far from the minds
Upon which its scorn is projected.

Deceitful Water Lies Stably

Burned hues of the sun
Crawl across the links
Lying under planar water.
Vespertine whirls
Disrupt the stasis,
Snarl the long chains.
Unsleeping is the unctuous countenance;

The Bringer Of Psychedelic Ferns

Steady
Up and down
Rise and fall
Ribbons of rhythm
Stream through my head
Contorted consciousness
Enraptured consciousness
Out breaks inspiration and impiety;

The Fast And Fastidious Sepulchre

A brick weighs upon the antecedent.
Rows and rows create impervious sepulchral walls
Wherein lie those meant for obscurity.
While the mourner extends his now mirthful body

"Sometimes Dead Is Better"

Stiffened bodies
Draped with decay
Beset unfortunate life:
The object of esurience.
Invitation is sprawled
In warmth and blood
Within living skin,
Esculent and fresh.
Heavy feet lag toward

Obsequious To Breadth Immense

Breadth immense
Tying a line to my eyes.
Obsequious eyes
Compelled to obey direction:
The seductive direction
Of swaying flesh—
The delectable flesh
Of breadth immense

Light Shines Through Antemeridian Icicles

An incarnadine burst,
Amorphous on the horizon,
Recedes into a frozen blue sky.
The colour resides as lungs of aurora;
And they contract
Delicately, like frail leaves

Egregious Presumption & Faith In Oneself

Veracity limns
Upon the softest fabric
Placid water
Ensconced by jagged boulders and vines.
Bones line up, extended toward the sky.
A body jutting out from the rock face
Plummets with force.

Ancient Leaves

Subaqueous,
Teeming with sapidity.
Colour leeches into the water
Under vaporous swells
Mingling with the air.
Submergence.
Commixed and pungent,
It runs over my lips

Fear Not; For What Is Eternity?

Desire burns
A hole through reason
And smoulders until
It is black.
Smoke rises from what has gone
And disperses on a persistent wind.

Expedience

Anticipation pulls taut the fabric
Separating curiosity from what is borne of experience.
Great rivers rage down your face;
Shirt saturated in the glimmer from your neck.

Words Imbued

Let the sun set low; cull the light from the
Air and replace it with the resonance
Of the harmonious tones spilling from
The sweet of your lips and fire on your tongue.

M. McK.

Such a cozening stone, blue in colour,
Blanketed with tempestuous weather.
The sun may shine upon your crisp visage,
Or leave you frozen in your majesty.
I can feel the chilling air in my lungs
