To Mother Earth
Forgive me, Earth, if I have forsaken you
For my dreams and wishes.
I know I have flayed each norm,
Each rule, each sense of belonging.
I know I have plucked each root,
Each feather, each burning ember
To feed the splitting atoms of my heart.
Because I know the vastness of your realm,
The heights of your dreams
And the depths of your heart.
But then, if you are my mother, as they say,
Should I not take the liberty to fulfill my dreams?
Forgive me, Earth, I'm forced and bound.
Just like you.

~Forced and Bound~
Sushil,
This is pure poetry. It rings of complete truth and leaves the scent of humanity. Oh, to be human and to defy the laws of nature. Oh, to be human and feel so incomplete. Please forgive us, Earth, we are forced and bound,
just like you.
This is very spiritual and thoughtful.
Warm regards,
Kathy
From My Heart
Kathy,
Many thanks once again.
When feelings pour out from the heart, there is a sincerity about them. These feelings are pure, honest.
This is happening in front of our eyes and we cannot do anything about it.
We are not just witnesses but part of this great drama of life, always moving with a fearful pace.
The heart is saddened, the eyes are tearful and the lips are dry.
Warm regards,
Sushil
