La Cassement [with English translation]
attends-moi là-bas
await me there
i will never go there again
it’s been too long
that i’ve waited for you
open the door
i will not be there
i’ve not disappeared
i’ve just had enough
you told me that poetry
came from my mouth
that I must’ve come from the stars
what happened between us?
you’ve become accustomed to waiting for me here
but I will not return
open the door, I will be gone
you’ll cry but I don’t give a damn.

Tres bien!
I enjoy it when poets use other languages in their writing. The world is so much bigger than just English! And I'm feeling how you tie this together at the end. Reminds me of "Gone with the Wind."
I've never seen nor read
I've never seen nor read Gone With The Wind, but that's cool it reminds you of that! I actually wrote this a couple days before a boy broke up with me... which I didn't know was going to happen. It's kind of weird.
La Cassement
sounds very good in both languages i enjoyed the 3rd line a lot very good.
