My Grandpa and me

My Grandpa and me
were always happy
He taught me so many valuable things
He also taught me how too sing
He had a heart of gold
That would always unfold
He always made me smile & laugh
When he would smell like garlic
Yes he was from Italy
and could cook up a storm you see
He would make dishes
and have me try them
never telling me what was inaside them...
I thank my Grandpa for all of his lessons
because now I can really cook well in the kitchen.

I'll always love you Grandpa and you will always be in my heart.

It's wonderful to have such vivid and happy memories of your times growing up with your Grandpa. I can relate in a way because my Grandpa didn't teach me to cook but he passed his love of golf on to me and I still play it avidly and I am now a Grandpa myself.

Anna,
These are the ways our parents and grandparents pass on culture down thru the ages. Your son will surely benefit from your grandfather, :)
