The clouds turn gray, and the rain begins to pour,
The lightning flashes and the thunder rolls.
The cement fills with worms,
all trying to escape drowning in their holes.
She don't understand whats going on,
She feels so weak, the currents to strong.
She's drowning in the hole of life,
and she decides she wants to die.
Her momma says, "Mija what's wrong?"
But she can't tell her, she ain't that strong.
Crying she looks up at the sky,
But lookin up all she can do is ask, "Why?"
A moment later the rain stops, and walking to her room,
the door locks.
Its time.
Suddenly a knocks heard at the door,
She opens it, "a bible on the floor?"
She suddenly sees the light,
at the end of the tunnel.
She looks out her window.
And then i see the rainbow...
