The Truth Behind It All

The darkness is blinded by her beauty,
Light shines off of her as she walks with me.
Can be sweet but also very moody,
And her kisses are poisonous to thee.
Her loveliness can hide her very bad lies,
To the men she seems like a goddess,
Her beauty makes me want to have to sigh,
For believe me, she’s not very modest.
Her heart is not the same as her beauty,
For her tongue is as sharp as a knife’s edge,
Her evil heart is black for it is sooty,
Her mean words can throw a man off a ledge.
So she may be a beauty to their eyes,
But all in all she is a bag of lies.
