Why is it that we always
Want to be rushing forward?
Never stopping for a moment
10,15,20 goals were moving toward.

Everything's blurred, your head is never clear,
At work doing this, at home doing that-
Going through the red lights
Not a second looking back.

Not enough hours in the day you think
As you set your alarm for 4 am.
Got another job-
pushing your limits as much as you can.

All of a sudden you've lost yourself.
Forgotten who you are, what you believe in,
Just another rat in the maze
No meaning found even after all the running.

Realizing you've forgotten what its like to have friends
To have fun-
To be able to wake up in the morning
Thinking "man am i glad to see the sun."

Maybe it's time to take a step back
Off the freeway of life-
Take a deep breath before you get back on track
look around you,- its a beautiful world.
