Is it so easy to leave when you see,
Just how much I need
The sound of your voice to be a part
Of my everyday.

I know you see I’m hurting
But do you even care?
For when I try to come closer
Before I can begin to cry,
You turn and walk away.

Today I am no better
Than the day you left from me
But my love for you grows stronger
Even with each twinge of hurt.

I’ve never known a pain like this.
Why must it go on?
This pain I feel inside
That burns with a blazing fury
When I feel you moving on.
