Again you call
With the sound of tears in your voice
What’s wrong
I can only guess
For you no longer share
What troubles your heart
And I am left to flounder,
Alone in this dark.
If only this could all be done and over
So that when you are troubled,
I could be there for you.
I wish you knew what it does to me,
When you call each time
With tears in your voice.
All the while knowing
You don’t want me there,
To give you my shoulder
And my ear once again.

There are parts of this
I can relate to, with my own recent events... It is a hard position to be in, wanting to do so much for someone you still care about, yet your hands are tied. Maybe some day, on some level, she will realize what she gave up in you. Its a tough position to be in, I can relate-Take care-Lee
