There is only today,
Stop searching forever.
The past will not stay,
When tomorrow comes,
It’s yesterday again.
The past is a burden,
Carried like a heavy weight.
It can’t fix tomorrow,
And clouds our today.
Today and yesterday,
Before even then;
Forever will not be here soon,
And then will be on its way.
Forever will not be here soon,
It stays just out of reach.
