The irony of the situation
Fills me with wonder,
How can you really mean it when you say?
That what you do
Is no concern of mine.
Though when you call
And I’m not home
You ask me where I’ve been.

Do you ask out of habit?
I think it’s more than that.
It shows that somewhere deep inside,
You still have feelings for me.

So do not say you’re sorry
Any time you ask
Where I am and what I’m doing,
There is nothing for me to hide
Just because after all
I still belong to you.
