Fear

Saw in my dream,
A day after work, slept to forget this world,
To see some peace, to forgo the deep pain,
Its an ugly truth, saw in my dream -
Darkness all around, trying to make out things,
Searching for a light, every way I went,
Found a wall blocking the outside world,
Real dark was that night in my dream.

Suddenly found some bars, could see very bright light from the squares,
Realized it was a ventilation, but when looked behind, it was again the scary darkness,
Was trying hard to go to that light seen, trying to break the bars,
Was finding myself tired and week to come out with every try.

Forehead, ears, neck told me they saw water, yes, I was sweating,
The spine-chilling dream was over, my fingers naturally on the forehead,
But the darkness was still there around, closed my eyes tight,
Of course with no intention to sleep for some more time,
Darkness in the two worlds, dream and in real, third world, deep in my mind too.

Mind was fighting out difficult situations,
Trying to breakthrough the pains and the dark past.
Sometimes, dream is not just a dream.
