O moon
Stay near, o moon so bright;
Do not go behind that cloud;
A little longer stay in sight.
You will be gone all too soon.
But while you're here,
Woodland creatures will bask
In your gorgeous silvery light.

Beautiful!
Very well written Sharon, I do love the moonlight. My oldest son is learning about the phases of the moon in his science class, we use their telescope to look at the moon and stars regularly. It does have a subtle silvery quality of light which transforms everything.
