Public libraries free,

Can almost always be,

Wonderful, uplifting places,

Filled with such treasures.

Chief among them to me

Are books about the God-inspired men and women --

John Wycliffe, William Tyndale,

Martin Luther, John Wesley --

To name just a few,

(Naturally, to me, intrepid Prostestant that I am,

Not that I would ever step on another's toe a la religion,

Being rock-solid in what I believe, and respecting others as I do),

But these amazing souls,

Faithful followers of Christ,

Rather than be remiss in

In their duty to God and man,

Endured often unspeakable hardship.

For these holy, enduring examples,

These lovers and doers of the Word,

I say, may You continue to bless

Each and every one.
