Talking To The Daffodils
I always talk to daffodils
They're nice!
They give me sound advice.
I swear upon my oath
They counsel me on world affairs
On marriage, personal growth
Whilst others flee
In search of unity, and light
I find the yellows have the insight
And sitting in the sun
There’s no place finer
To talk about the state of China.

Somehow I knew this was you when I saw the title! I always enjoy poems which combine silliness, nature, and world affairs. Fun stuff, Miss Debz!!!
As for me, I usually discuss China with my baboon named Fred. But flowers know a lot, too, so talking to them is also groovy.

Thanks for asking, Debs! Fred is doing just fine. Yesterday it was lovely out, so we went on a bike ride in my two-seated bicycle. Then we had a picnic and sang show tunes. It was great. You shoulda been there! Toodle-loo!

We are supposed to talk to our plants and flowers anyways, right? It helps them grow...as the yellow, helps you grow.. as in this poem!!!

Most definately, Lindz. Where I used to live, I had an entire conservatory full of plants, and I must tell you they were partial to the odd bit of prose being read (especially Neruda) :.)
Sadly I no longer have them, but the beauty of the sea on my doorstep instead, so can't complain!
Keep talking to those plants Lindz, they're our freinds!!

Daffodils we have some lovely miniture dafs growing in our garden, you can come and talk to our dafs if you like LoL :o) talking to plants thats why they are there. it helps sort out our hectic lives, great poem Debs xxxx :o)
